CASABLANCA (1942)
The line "In the meantime, let's hit the usual suspects" references "Round up the usual suspects", a famous line from this movie.

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (1971)
The house address of 55 Ludovico is a dual reference to A Clockwork Orange. The Ludovico Technique was the behavioral conditioning treatment Alex underwent, and 55 are two digits of Alex's prison number (655321 in the movie and 6655321 in the book).

STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE (1977)
Peter Cushing's role as Grand Moff Tarkin in this film was sometimes used as a point of reference for Paul T. Taylor during filming; if Tunnicliffe ever felt that Taylor was getting slightly off-course in his performance, he would ask him to repeat the quote "You're far too trusting" to help bring him back into Pinhead's mindset.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)
The obvious reference is co-star Heather Langenkamp, who is best known for portraying Nancy in the film. There is also a Freddy Krueger easter egg revealed in the gag reel.

BRAZIL (1985)
According to Gary J. Tunnicliffe, his role as The Auditor was inspired by two movie characters- 'Sam Lowry' from 'Brazil' in terms of being a 'cog in the machine', and visually and tonally 'Itzhak Stern' from 'Schindler's List' (1993).

HELLRAISER (1987)
Composer Deron Johnson was inspired by Christopher Young's original score and applied it to this film.

HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II (1988)
Composer Deron Johnson was inspired by Christopher Young's original score and applied it to this film.

SCHINDLER'S LIST (1993)

SAW (2004)
Director Gary J. Tunnicliffe stated that he marketed the gory segments of the film in order to attract fans of torture-based horror films like 'Saw' and 'Hostel' (2005), among others.
