SEASON 2, EPISODE 19
THE BUTCHER

Across the ocean, a German scientist named Horst Mueller (Colin Fox) escapes from
prison and heads to a bomb-damaged underground laboratory. There, he dangles a
silver amulet, consisting of a swastika enclosed in a circle, over a frozen body, and
gleefully watches the corpse come to life. The 'dead' man is Colonel Rausch (Nigel
Bennett) a notorious Nazi known during the war as 'The Butcher'. As Mueller uncouples
the amulet, keeping the circle part for himself and handing Rausch the swastika, he
explains that their minds are linked through the amulet. When Rausch has killed all of
their enemies, and the amulet is again coupled, they will at last have the future the
Fuhrer promised- a Reich that will last a thousand years. The enemies Rausch speaks
of are the men of Jack's World War II squadron, who strangled Rausch to death with
barbed wire and captured Mueller. As part of the plan to rebuild the Reich, Rausch
comes to America under a pseudonym and methodically begins to exact his revenge.
