SEASON 2, EPISODE 16
SCARLET CINEMA

Nerdy college student Darius Pogue (Jonathan Wise) spends hours alone in a dark
movie theatre mouthing dialogue along with Lon Chaney Jr. in the classic horror film
'The Wolf Man'. When the lights in the theatre come back on, Darius has a hard time
returning to the real world. In fact, his greatest wish in life is to become a werewolf.
After some of Darius' classmates humiliate him by showing a film of one of his attempts
to transform himself into a werewolf, Darius becomes even more obsessed. While
browsing through Taylor McDougall's camera shop for a film case project, Darius
becomes mesmerized by an antique movie camera. When McDougall (John Swindells)
firmly states that the camera is not for sale, Darius steals it, but not before the camera
eerily captures McDougall's image on film. When Darius returns to his dorm with his
prize, the camera seems to come to life. A blue light shining from its viewfinder beckons
Darius to peer in. When he does, Darius sees footage from 'The Wolf Man', but this time,
the plot is altered somewhat. The werewolf is seen entering McDougall's camera shop,
where he proceeds to savage Taylor with the camera emitting all the sights and sounds
of the carnage. Stunned, Darius rips open the back of the camera and finds the
inscription 'Three deaths and you get your wish'. Darius is euphoric as he begins
plotting revenge against those who have wronged and humiliated him.
