SEASON 1, EPISODE 8
SHADOW BOXER

When gym owner Manny (Jack Duffy) is found dead, his widow contacts Curious
Goods to sell his belongings, which include an impressive collection of boxing
memorabilia. Jack recalls that Manny purchased a valuable pair of boxing gloves
from Lewis Vendredi that once belonged to 'Killer' Ken Kelsey, and discovers that
they have gone missing. Meanwhile, at Manny's gym, a down-and-out boxer named
Tommy Dunn suddenly begins bragging about his newly-found punching prowess.
No one takes him seriously until he enters the ring and obliterates every opponent
he faces. Watching from the stands, Micki soon realizes that the reason for his
success are the gloves, stolen from Manny before they could be put in the vault.

EPISODE RATING: 3

Predictable episode, very easy to know what would happen and when...
The boxing angle was interesting, but little else worthy of an hour of my time
