SEASON 1, EPISODE 7
DOCTOR JACK

A 'Jack-The-Ripper' style murderer shocks the city, and a suspicious Jack checks
the manifest and discovers that an antique surgical scalpel had been sold by Lewis
Vendredi. It was purchased by Dr. Vincent Howlett (Cliff Gorman), a flamboyant surgeon
dubbed 'The Miracle Man' for his remarkable success rate with hopeless cases.
Looking into the doctor, Jack, Ryan and Micki, foil an attempt on Howlett's life by Jean
Flappen (Elva Mai Hoover), who claims Howlett murdered her daughter. After an
investigation, the trio finds newspaper clippings of brutal murders, all in cities where
Howlett practiced. The group soon realizes that the cursed scalpel is an instrument
of life and death-- it saves a life only after it has been used to take a life.
