REVENGE AT CAMP BLOOD
CHAPTER 21- JUST IN CASE
“It started to get to me after a while and I really missed you,” Danielle stated, “After we moved, I no longer had daddy to turn to for guidance or you to fight with.”
“I know how you feel,” Jarrod responded. “I feel the same way. After Dad and I left, breakfast became a thing of the past, because mom was not there to make it. I was lucky if I even ate at all.”
Huddled by a large oak, Jarrod and Danielle were finally having that catch-up conversation they so longed for.
“You have no idea what happened to Dad after all that,” Jarrod continued. “Jack Daniels became his best friend. He was always out boozing it up or banging the local whore on the street corner. He never had time for me. If I wanted to practice skating or shoot some puck, I always had to do it by myself, with an empty net. I never really had a father.”
“I can’t believe it,” Danielle replied, shocked. “I don’t really know Dad that well, and I guess I never will. I do know that Mom’s been a total wreck ever since. She can’t even look at another guy without thinking of Dad.”
“I just wish things could be different,” Danielle continued, as she started to cry.
“Don’t cry Danielle,” Jarrod said, hugging her. “Everything will be okay. We have to remember that no matter what, we always have each other. If we stay strong, we can get past this and make up for all those years we were apart.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right,” Danielle whimpered between tears. “It’s just so hard.”
“Nobody said it would be easy,” Jarrod replied, hugging her tighter.
Soon after, their brief moment of togetherness was quickly interrupted by the sounds of fast approaching footsteps.
“What was that?” Danielle asked, wiping her tears.
“Shh,” Jarrod replied, pulling out his switchblade.
An instant later, Kevin and Jake sped into view, and nearly tripped over Danielle.
“Guys?!” Jarrod yelled, “What the hell?”
“Oh, good, we found you,” Jake answered, breathing heavily. “Come with us, hurry, we have a plan.”
“A plan?” Jarrod asked. “Plan for what?”
“No time to chat, we’ll explain on the way!” Jake yelled, catching up to Kevin, who was about 50 yards ahead of them.
“You coming, sis?” Jarrod asked.
“Yeah, go ahead, I’ll catch up,” Danielle replied. “I am gonna head back to the plane and get my sweater. I am freezing out here.”
“Alright,” Jarrod responded with a sigh. “But take my switchblade just in case anything happens along the way.”
“Okay,” Danielle replied, hugging her brother and taking the blade off of him. “And Jarrod…”
“Yeah?” He replied, about 15 yards away.
“It’s nice having my little brother back,” Danielle said with a smile.
Jarrod didn’t reply.
He just smiled and continued on his way, as Danielle began her journey back to the plane.

Meanwhile, back on the plane, Michelle awoke in a frenzy.
“Woah,” she said, “I must have fallen asleep.”
“Where is everybody?” She continued, “Jake? Jade?”
She got up and walked slowly toward the door, not noticing that directly behind her was Jason, eerily peering in at her through the plane window and following her every move.
When she turned around, however, he was gone.
“Hello?” She called out.
There was no response.
Discouraged, she opened the plane door and stepped out into the dark, moonlit night.
Unfortunately for her, all she could see was smoke.
“Jake? Jade? Kevin? Anybody?” She called out, but still got no response.
Again, she neglected to look in the opposite direction, as directly behind her, standing on top of the plane, was Jason, machete in hand.
And once again, when she finally did turn around, he was gone.
She then noticed a shadow inside the plane.
“Hello? Who’s there?” She asked.
Of course, there was no reply.
She got back in the plane and called out for a third time, “Hello?”
Not only was there no response, but there was no one inside the plane, either.
With a puzzled look on her face, Michelle walked back to her makeshift bed and started to brush her hair.
However, she screamed as she turned around and saw Kevin standing there, wearing his goalie mask.
“Jesus, Kevin, you scared me again!” She yelled.
But Kevin didn’t move.
He just stood there, staring her down with the most sinister look in his eye.
“Where’s Jake?” She asked, continuing to brush her hair.
There was no reply.
“Come on, Kev, you don’t need that on in here, it’s just me,” She stated.
Kevin then slowly made his way toward her, and was now standing directly behind her.
Michelle then held up her small makeup mirror in front of her face, but she screamed when it revealed Kevin standing directly behind her.
She dropped and broke the mirror as she turned around.
Kevin then grabbed her by the throat and started to choke the life out of her.
“Kevin, what’s wrong with you?” She pleaded. “What are you doing? Kevin?!!!”
She then managed to pry off Kevin’s mask, but the horror then struck her when she realized that it wasn’t even Kevin at all.
It was Jason.
“Oh my god!” She yelled, as Jason raised her high toward the ceiling of the plane.
She kicked and clawed with everything she had, but she just couldn’t break free.
Just then, Danielle came into the plane and surprised them both.
“Michelle?! Oh my god!” She yelled, pulling out her switchblade.
Jason dropped Michelle to the floor and turned his attention to Danielle, who was ready for battle.
Jason slowly stalked Danielle, who didn’t know what to expect.
“Jason?” She asked.
That managed to freeze him for a second. He didn’t know what to think.
He tilted his head sideways for a moment, but then continued toward her.
Grabbing his machete, he took a mighty swing at her.
Surprisingly, Danielle managed to evade the shot and sliced Jason in the neck with the switchblade.
Growling, Jason dropped his machete and staggered backward.
Danielle then attacked, repeatedly slicing Jason with the switchblade, and actually gaining the upper hand momentarily.
Finally, Jason got one lucky shot in, as he backhanded the switchblade out of her hand—and out the open door.
He then grabbed Danielle and threw her the whole way up toward the cockpit, sending her crashing through a couple seats.
He once again clutched his machete and slowly made his way toward her as Michelle, staggering to her feet, recovered.
Jason grabbed Danielle by the throat and held her high up to the ceiling, as she desperately tried to free herself.
“Danielle!” Michelle cried as she tried to intervene.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t get there in time.
Jason took his machete and impaled Danielle to the ceiling.
She managed to utter one word before she spit blood out of her mouth and died, and that was “Jarrod.”
With Danielle’s lifeless body just hanging there, Michelle jumped on Jason’s back and stuck the switchblade in his neck.
That didn’t even phase him, however, as he flipped Michelle over his head and sent her crashing to the floor.
He then grabbed Michelle’s head and started to squeeze it together like a vise.
Screaming and fighting with all she had, Michelle just couldn’t manage to break free, and as her eyes began to roll in the back of her head.
In a last ditch effort, she looked around the plane, trying to find anything she could to pry him off of her.
Fortunately, she saw Jake’s Easton Aluminum hockey stick on the floor, grabbed it, and swung with all her might, striking Jason in the head.
It wasn’t much, but it broke his death grip on her head.
She fell to the floor as Jason growled and retreated, but not before he took the stick away from her.
As she struggled to her feet, Jason grasped the stick and absolutely waylaid her in the back with it, followed by shots to the neck, stomach and head, which shattered the stick into pieces.
Disappointed that the stick broke, Jason noticed the rest of the hockey equipment that was scattered about.
Then, peering down at the bloodied and woozy Michelle, Jason grabbed the sharpest thing he could find—a pair of ice skates, and turned back around to face her.
Michelle managed to get back on her knees, but by doing so, only put herself at Jason’s mercy.
“Go to Hell!” She yelled, as Jason slit her throat with the skate.
Then, with one swipe, Jason split her head in two horizontally, splattering blood all over the inside of the plane in the process.
