REVENGE AT CAMP BLOOD
CHAPTER 19- A GRISLY DISCOVERY

“Can you believe the nerve of those guys?” Cammie asked as her and Rico walked through the woods looking for a way out.

“Si,” Rico replied. “Zey need two be more polite.”

“Who do they think they are?” Cammie asked. “Jason Voorhees...yeah right.”

“Cawm-ie...Who ist Jay-sun?” Rico asked.

“Well,” Cammie answered, “Jason is supposedly some psycho killer who won’t die. He drowned when he was like seven or something, but people say he keeps coming back and killing people, wearing a white hockey mask as his trademark.”

Rico didn’t reply.

“Rico?” she asked, noticing he had the palest look on his face.

“There!” Rico screamed, pointing directly behind her with the most horrific look on his face.

Cammie spun around and just about threw up.

Because there, hanging from the tree, were a pair of human legs, which fell out of the tree and top of her.

“Oh my god!” Cammie screamed, puking all over the ground. “Get these off of me!”

Rico was next to puke as he looked around the side of the tree.

There were body parts spread everywhere.

In fact, just about the entire tree was painted red with blood.

It looked like a butcher shop.

Cammie was then blinded by a glare from the moonlight reflecting off of the ground.

She looked down and saw a small metal object, which she picked up.

She began to cry as she realized what it was.

And who.

It was a small gold plate that said “D. Rogers.”

It was the pilot who was strewn out all over the woods.

Rico then made an interesting discovery.

Nearby, on the ground, lay Kevin’s goalie mask, covered with blood.

“What the hell’s going on here?” Cammie asked.

“Kay-vin, do this?” Rico asked.

“I don’t know,” Cammie said, wiping the puke off of her mouth. “But we better go show this to the others and see what they think.”

“Si,” Rico replied, as they turned and started to head back toward the plane.

Just as they started to head back, they heard a whirring sound, and instant later, Rico noticed he was running alone, as Cammie hit the ground.

He immediately spun around to see where she was, and found her lying on the ground with a hammer claw in her head.

Rico did not know what to do for her as her life slowly began to slip away. She tried to call his name, but only managed to spit blood out of her mouth.

Soon after, Jason appeared, and, breathing heavily through his mask, backhanded Rico a good thirty feet across the dark forest.

He then turned his attention back to Cammie, who was barely moving.

Jason tilted his head toward her, amazed that she was even still alive.

Jason then pulled the hammer claw out of her head and stared at her as her blood and brains spewed all over the ground.

Then, as Rico watched, he raised the hammer claw above his head and began to repeatedly pummel Cammie’s head, making mincemeat out of her once pretty face.

Rico was terrified as Jason, after beating Cammie’s face beyond recognition, launched the hammer toward him, narrowly missing his head.

Rico then took off sprinting, yelling in Spanish, “Oh Mi Dios! Él Va A matarme!” (“Oh My God! He’s Going To Kill Me!”)

“Danielle,” Jarrod stated, “Can I talk to you?”

“Sure,” Danielle replied, “what’s up?”

“Not here,” Jarrod insisted. “Let’s go for a walk. I really need to talk to you.”

“Okay,” Danielle agreed, “but what about the others?”

“Yeah, what about us?” Jake interrupted. “We’ll be fine, you two have a lot of catching up to do. Just don’t go too far from the plane and if we need you, we’ll holler.”

“You sure?” Jarrod asked.

“Yeah,” Michelle added. “Go on, get caught up.”

So, Jarrod and Danielle disappeared into the darkness as the ran had finally stopped.

“What was that all about?” Jade asked.

“Those two haven’t seen each other since their parents divorced years ago,” Michelle informed her. “Danielle went to live with their mother and Jarrod went with their father.”

“Oh I see,” Jade answered. “I guess they would have a lot of catching up to do then. I just hope they don’t go too far.”

“You never said how you guys wound up here,” Jade continued.

“Well, it’s a long story,” Jake stated. “But basically, we are the NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Champions and we missed our flight this morning. So, we took this flight at the last minute on a test plane and wound up here.”

“Lucky you, huh?” Jade said, matter-of-factly.

“Yeah,” Jake replied. “I just want to go home.”

“We will,” Michelle said, hugging him. “As long as we stick together, we can survive this.”

“She’s right,” Jade added. “We should probably go round up everyone pretty soon and get a plan of attack. Jason can’t kill all of us at the same time.”

Just then they heard a noise outside of the plane.

“There’s that noise again,” Jake stated as he started to open the door. “Last time it was you, Jade, I wonder who it is this time?”

“Don’t open that!” Jade screamed.

It was too late.

An instant later, a man in a mask came barreling toward them, machete in hand.

Their jaws dropped.
