THE RATING
THE LAIR EXPERTS
Matt: This novel was horrible. It would have been half-decent if it was the first or the third, but the last? It was a really crappy way to end the series. The premise was decent, but Morse failed to deliver on the characterization. I didn't really care about these characters at all, especially the token cheerleaders. It really shows in this one that he only had one year to produce the four novels, because he was really running out of gas at this point with his storytelling. I rate it 5 out of 10, but only because 'The Carnival' was that much worse.
A.J.: This is a fairly decent book. However, I gave up on all the far-fetched ideas. I am just going with the flow but the only thing I must rip on is why in the hell was Jason's ghost playing the piano??? Need I say more??? But the characters were well thought out, so I give this book a 7 out of 10.
