DELETED SCENES

NO TRESPASSING ALTERNATE SCENE (2:46)

1. This alternate scene features Kyle McLeod discovering the "No Trespassing" sign from 'Friday The 13th Part 2', however, unlike the theatrical version, Jason Voorhees does not appear on-screen. Instead, Jason was only depicted in a point of view shot (POV), much like the early 'Friday The 13th' films. The scene selected ultimately has gone on to receive some criticism for the way Jason is able to appear and disappear behind Kyle.

LAKE DISCOVERY SCENE (4:17)

2. There was also a winter version of the 'Lake Discovery' scene that was pre-visualized in December of 2016 by the producers. This went on to become the 'A' camera for the second half of filming and this shoot was a test that was never colored.

GHOST JASON ATTACKS- THE LOST SCENES (14:29)

2. This collaboration between Womp Stomp Films, Oddest Of The Odd, & Physical Gamerz follows the the story of three streamers Courtland, Ryan & PG as they attempt to escape Camp Crystal Lake and the murderous 'Ghost Jason' Voorhees. This video is not canon with the 'Never Hike Alone' universe but serves as an experiment in a 'Friday The 13th'-inspired vertical video/found footage experience.

THE MAIN LODGE- TEST FOOTAGE (1:06)

3. This sequence of events was an early test sequence used to try out different equipment, times of day, and building an overall look and feel for what ultimately became 'Never Hike Alone'. This clip features several early workings of the final scenes that actually went into the movie. This camp features a huge main hall with beautiful architecture. The shots leading into the cabin almost made it into the final film, but the shot of Kyle rounding the back of the cabin was selected instead. These were the hardest shots for the producers to cut out of the whole film because they were the foundation of how the rest of the film was made. It was also during these tests that actor Andrew Leighty really shaped the character of Kyle McLeod, locking in his attitude and emotions exhibited during both of these scenes.

MORE TEST FOOTAGE (1:52)

4. This clip was used in producing the first trailer for 'Never Hike Alone', and features an early look at 'Ghost Jason', whose look evolved over the course of the production, as well as the yellow ax that has been used for the series from the very beginning.
