SEASON 1, EPISODE 6 SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL The perils of dating in the 1980s are explored from both the male and female points of view when a lonely man named Gordon (Scott Burkholder) and woman named Mary (Molly Cleator) show they are willing to do anything to find "the one". Gordon, down and out after being rejected by Lana (Shari Shattuck), exaggerates his virile prowess through a video dating service and ends up with a monster of a date. Mary, meanwhile, learns that beauty is only skin deep when she endures painful plastic surgery to become beautiful, only to find out the it's what's inside that really counts.
