SEASON 1, EPISODE 2 IT'S A MISERABLE LIFE A moment becomes a lifetime between the pulling of the trigger and the impact of the bullet to an innocent victim of a drive-by shooting. Bryan (John Cameron Mitchell) desperately wants out of Springwood to escape his dead-end job at a fast-food joint owned by his father (Peter Iacangelo). One night, while working the late shift, Bryan is the victim of a drive-by, and the line between fantasy and reality is forever blurred. His girlfriend Karyn (Lar Park Lincoln) also becomes paralyzed with her fear of hospitals that seem to materialize when she becomes a victim as well.
