Matt: Coming off a decent showing with the first book, I had high hopes for this one, and as always, I was totally let down. This book is nothing like 'Suffer The Children' was, in fact it's not even close. Freddy is barely a part of it until midway through the book, and it scaringly reminds me of 'Freddy's Revenge' at various times throughout the novel. The author definitely needed to do her homework before writing this. I mean, come on, Springwood, California??? Enough said. It had potential, but the beginning and the end didn't make up for its overall sucky quality. 2 out of 10.
