SEASON 2, EPISODE 6
MASTER OF DISGUISE

While supplying antique props for a movie set, Micki falls for the handsome enigmatic
star of the film, William Pratt (John Bolger). With jealousy fueling his suspicions, Ryan
warns Micki against getting involved with the star, reminding her that there have been
many mysterious 'accidents' on the sets of all of his movies. Ignoring his advice, Micki
follows her heart and becomes intimately involved with the actor. Pratt's sudden rise
to movie stardom is a mystery to fans and critics, with good reason. The truth is, he is
really Jeff Amory, an ugly and deformed horror movie actor who has been obsessed with
a beautiful red-haired actress. But when he discovered her in a remote hideaway with
another man, he killed the lover in a jealous rage and caused the terrified actress to fall
from a cliff. Although Amory was later committed to an insane asylum, he managed to
escape, and purchased an antique make-up case from Uncle Lewis which was formerly
owned by John Wilkes Booth. Now, as William Pratt, his theatrical make-up must have an
essential ingredient to protect his secret identity: the blood of murder victims.
