![]() SEASON 1, EPISODE 7 DOCTOR JACK A 'Jack-The-Ripper' style murderer shocks the city, and a suspicious Jack checks the manifest and discovers that an antique surgical scalpel had been sold by Lewis Vendredi. It was purchased by Dr. Vincent Howlett (Cliff Gorman), a flamboyant surgeon dubbed 'The Miracle Man' for his remarkable success rate with hopeless cases. Looking into the doctor, Jack, Ryan and Micki, foil an attempt on Howlett's life by Jean Flappen (Elva Mai Hoover), who claims Howlett murdered her daughter. After an investigation, the trio finds newspaper clippings of brutal murders, all in cities where Howlett practiced.
