FILMS CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (1954) The creature's hand from this film is shown preserved in a jar in the lab. FIEND WITHOUT A FACE (1958) The creature from this film is shown preserved in a jar in the lab. DR. STRANGELOVE (1964) MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL (1975) Kay-Em 14's dismantling of Jason is a direct reference to the Black Knight's death from this film. ALIEN (1979) This film served as the main inspiration for 'Jason X'. Todd Farmer also plays a character named Dallas. FRIDAY THE 13TH (1980) The character of Adrienne (Kristi Angus), is named after Adrienne King, the star of the original 'Friday The 13th' (1980). Also, some of Harry Manfredini's original musical score is briefly used during the 'Virtual Crystal Lake' scene. THE TERMINATOR (1984) INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984) Characters roll under a closing door in 'Jason X' similar to Indiana Jones in this film. ALIENS (1986) Rowan's story is very similar of Ripley's, right down to defeating the antagonist, being frozen for a very long period of time, then returning to a later generation of people who simply don't understand the dangers of the antagonist due to their lack of experience. PREDATOR (1987) ROBOCOP (1987) FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: THE NEW BLOOD (1988) The 'sleeping bag' kill scene, Kane Hodder's favorite, is brought back for this movie. CHILD'S PLAY (1988) Jason's dismemberment is very similar to Chucky's death in this film. THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991) ARMY OF DARKNESS (1992) Jason kills Azrael in the same fashion that Ash kills a deadite (picking him up and breaking his back over his knee). EVENT HORIZON (1997) ALIEN: RESURRECTION (1997) Janessa's death is very similar to the Hybrid in this film. A.I.: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (2001) 'Jason X' is referenced during this movie. HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION (2002) RAISE YOUR VOICE (2004) The movie poster can be seen in the room of Paul (Jason Ritter).
