3. BINX (Jake's Cat)- Disappears, clump of fur later found by Jake

TRIVIA

QUESTIONS

1. How much did Jake pay for Chucky at the yard sale?
2. According to Devon, how much has murder increased in Hackensack?
3. What was the address of Chucky's childhood home?
4. What was Junior's rank in the Boy Scouts?
5. How did Jake's mother Mary die prior to the events of the show?

ANSWERS

1. Jake paid $10 for Chucky at the yard sale.
2. According to Devon, murder spiked 25 percent in Hackensack.
3. Chucky's childhood home was at 987 Sherwood Lane.
4. Junior was an Eagle Scout.
5. Jake's mother Mary died in a car accident.

BLOOPERS

1. In the beginning, when Mrs. Jolly notices the butcher knife was missing, take notice. The knife was already removed from the block before she even placed Chucky beside it.

2. Why would Miss Fairchild use F-bombs in class and swear at Oliver? Sounds like grounds for termination to me, particularly in today's society.

3. During science class, wouldn't the other students have noticed Chucky performing the dissection?

4. After Lucas' death, Jake is being interviewed with Chucky sitting at the table. But when the Wheeler's arrive, Chucky is no longer there. If he did leave, someone would have noticed, given the police presence at the scene (and the table).

DID YOU KNOW

1. The series takes place two weeks after the events of 'Cult Of Chucky'.

2. According to series creator Don Mancini, Chucky most closely resembles his look from from 'Child's Play 2' due to it being the "fan favorite" design.

3. Creator Don Mancini has stated in interviews that the rocky dynamic between Jake and his father, Luke, over the former's sexuality is based on the strained relationship he had with his own father growing up.

4. The title music is a modified version of Graeme Revell's 'Child's Play 2' theme, most noticeably heard in the scene where Chucky kills Mrs. Kettlewell.

5. When Jake googles Chucky and Good Guy-related incidents online, he finds references to Andy Barclay, Chucky's original owner, as well as several murders from the first and second movies in the franchise.

6. A woman in a red coat with a silk scarf covering her hair can be seen at the yard sale. This is intended to be Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly).

7. Chucky's ventriloquist act with Jake echoes Psych and Glen's ventriloquist act in 'Seed of Chucky' (2004), as well as 'Chucky's Insult Emporium', hosted several times at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood but canceled in 2008 due to complaints over its content. Jake and Chucky being escorted off the stage and Jake getting suspended from school because of the act is likely a nod to this.

8. When Jake tries to get Chucky to talk, he says the exact same thing Karen Barclay says ("talk to me, damnit!") to the doll in the original 'Child's Play'.

9. Mother and daughter characters Lexy Cross and Mayor Michelle Cross are portrayed by the real-life mother-daughter duo of Alyvia Alyn Lind and Barbara Alyn Woods.

10. The original script called for Devon was supposed to sing Queen's 'We Are the Champions' at the talent show. However, Bjorgvin Arnarson, the actor who plays Devon, told series creator Don Mancini that he couldn't sing, but could play the piano, the scene was rewritten to accommodate Arnarson's talents.

11. Michael Therriault, who plays Nathan, also played Dr. Foley in 'Cult Of Chucky' (2017).

12. The letters of the opening titles are made up of doll heads.

13. The most frequent method of death in the 'Child's Play' series is electrocution. In this episode, Logan (Devon Sawa) is electrocuted when he goes to check the breaker box.
